Rachael Landymore

Rachael founded The Haven Dog Centre Ltd with her son, Liam Landymore in 2015. She still currently volunteers for Dogs Helping Kids as Mentor for Personal Support Dogs and Head of Networking. She is extremely passionate about the work she does for Dogs Helping Kids and works very closely with Tracey Berridge, the founder. For over four years Rachael worked for the renowned Puppy Gurus as a senior trainer and set up The Haven when Puppy Gurus closed down.
Rachael has four dogs, Fly, Charlie ( DHK Personal Support School Dog), both Lab x springers, Menace, a rescue sprocker fro The Dogs Trust and Sprout, a podenco x, rescued from Spain. Rachael first found her love of training when she took Fly, her eldest dog, to training classes, she loved the bond that was formed by kind training methods with Fly and she never looked back, her love of training has been passed down to her two sons who are actively involved in training all four of the family’s canine companions. Her aim is to help others form a truly unique bond with their dogs through training.
Rachael is currently studying to become a Tellington Touch Practitioner. Learning about dog training is certainly never ending and she is always looking to further her knowledge and skills.
Rachael has recently graduated from Victoria Stilwell’s Dog Training Academy and passed with a distinction, we’re all incredibly proud of her!
