My Story

Rachael Landymore has been granted official status as a Victoria Stilwell Positively Dog Trainer (VSPDT). This is one of the most highly regarded qualifications in the dog training world. Being one of Victoria Stilwell’s certified VSPDT’s is internationally recognised as being the best in positive dog training.

Rachael Landymore, VSA

Rachael Landymore is a graduate of the prestigious Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training & Behavior and has been granted official status as a VSA-Certified Dog Trainer (VSA-CDT). The Victoria Stilwell Academy is the world’s premier institution for professional dog trainer education founded by renowned dog behaviour expert Victoria Stilwell, and graduates of VSA have been individually taught in person by Stilwell and other VSA faculty.

All VSA graduates have been rigorously assessed at the highest level for both skills and knowledge in the areas of dog training, behaviour modification, canine ethology creative problem-solving.

Additionally, great emphasis is placed on VSA’s industry-leading curriculum on effective and empathetic human communication skills. This unique focus results in professional dog trainers who are prepared to train dogs successfully using powerful force-free, positive reinforcement-based tools and techniques.

VSA trainers also help clients learn how to truly transform canine behaviour and set their dogs up for success using the latest in modern behavioural science methods.

Rachael’s Dogs

Rachael has three dogs, Charlie (DHK Personal Support School Dog), a Lab x springer, Menace, a rescue Sprocker from The Dogs Trust and Sprout, a Podenco cross, rescued from Spain. Rachael first found her love of training when she took Fly, her eldest dog, to training classes. She loved the bond that was formed by kind training methods with Fly and she never looked back.

​

Her love of training has been passed down to her two sons who are actively involved in training all four of the family’s canine companions. Her aim is to help others form a truly unique bond with their dogs through training.

Learning about dog training is certainly never-ending and she is always looking to further her knowledge and skills.
