Stop, Come, Click, Controlling Predatory Chase Positively with Jane Ardern – 19th & 20th Jan 2019
This is a two day practical workshop covering what Jane has learnt with her own dogs and the chase problems she came across with her sheep chasing Leonberger and rabbit killing Cocker. There is plenty of theory along with practical training exercises.
The course content covers understanding predatory chase and recall problems and specifically how she worked through her chase problems along with prevention techniques she has used since with puppies and young dogs.
Includes exercises such as Anticipatory Stillness, 5 different ways to teaching the ‘Stop’, Take it or Leave It, Connection Games, Recognising Emotion in Training, Cued Control and Self Control, Using the Whippet, Proofing Cued Behaviours in three stages, Auto-sits to Movement
